Oh, darn, I’ve missed Comic-Con again.
I never did relate to fantasy or science fiction. When I was a kid, television stations in Philadelphia were running reruns of the “Superman” TV series. When I was about 7, my mom once told me to go watch it (instead of wanting to help her in the kitchen). I told her, “But mom, it’s so stupid! Superman can’t fly!” That’s when I started reading biographies. I was the only child in my 4th-grade class reading the biography of Eleanor Roosevelt.
I suppose I’m way nerdier than anyone at Comic-Con.
Maybe I will go next year… dressed as Eleanor Roosevelt.
