Camilla in Copenhagen, and She’s Wonderful

by Chexy on March 26, 2012

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, looking every bit a vision of Hasidic Brooklyn, arrives for a Sunday service at St. Albans Anglican Church in Copenhagen.

With her hair in that “just stick a hat on it” style, and a spring makeup that gives her the glow of a Danish liverwurst, Camilla adopts the expression of a pickled herring as she greets the faithful.

On Monday, Camilla stopped for ice cream at Brostræde Fløde-IS (pronounced “Brostræde Fløde-IS”) during a tour of Elsinor.

This is the cherry on top of my Monday.

Wonderful. And now, this weird clip.

Oy, this one just did me in. I know tonite I’m gonna dream about a group of Rebbes dancing in a circle, smearing Kosher liverwurst all over each other, and tossing pickled herring at the Yeshivah students.

L’Chaim!
