That happy lady is Dr. Vandana Shiva, who just won the Sydney Peace Prize, as seen in Australia on Friday.
Dr. Shiva is an expert in quantum theory and is a leader in the ecofeminist movement.
The Sydney Peace Price recognizes someone who has made “significant contributions to global peace.”

Her Majesty, Betty Deuce, appeared before the United Nations, having saved her best hat for the last swing on her summer tour of Canada and NYC.
Looking monumental in this gold and aqua contraption, Betty called for all countries to “work together as hard as ever” to tackle global bugaboos like terrorism and climate change, neglecting to mention the changing weather patterns created by her hat.
Those flashy clip brooches are aquamarine and diamonds, a bit of Art Deco bling from Boucheron, given to Betty in 1944 by her parents, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
